Piazza Coragino is the main square of Corciano; around it there are important buildings such as “Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo” and “Palazzo dei Priori”.
The square takes its name from the legendary founder of the city Coragino, who was known to be a fellow traveler of the mythical greek hero Ulysses.
Crossing the square you can admire a circular well (dating from the 16th century), where the coat of arms of the town is represented.
