Municipal Hall

Built around the middle of the XVI century, the Municipal Hall of Corciano is situated along the Corso Cardinale Luigi Rotelli.

It is part of a series of residences that Della Corgna family had built in the towns they possessed such as Corciano, Pieve del Vescovo, Castiglione del Lago and Città della Pieve, following the election of Fulvio della Corgna as Pope. Along the outer perimeter the remains of Medieval houses that were demolished to make room for the construction of the Palace can still be seen.

At the bottom now there are stores and stables.

Recent restorations in the 1980s allowed the creation of a collection of archaeological finds on the ground floor.
